1. Pumpkin & Honey Acne-Fighting Mask

  • Organic Pumpkin seed oil [4-6 drops]
  • 1 & 1/2 Tbsp Organic Manuka honey
  • Tea tree oil [2-3 drops]

Mix the above ingredients in a small glass bowl and use the fingertips or a brush mask applicator to apply the mask in a thin layer on the entire face and neck area. Be sure to stay clear of the eyelids and under-eye areas as the super thin, delicate skin may not react well to the tea tree oil. Leave the mask on for up to 15 mins. and remove with lukewarm water and pat the face dry with a clean towel. The pumpkin seed oil brings on the natural moisturizing properties your skin craves, without clogging pores, while the Manuka honey is an excellent natural antibacterial- which aids in reducing breakouts! Last but not least, the tea tree oil finishes the job by stopping acne dead in its tracks as it brings on natural antiseptic properties.

Use gentle, circular motions for up to 2 mins. on the entire face and neck area after application; leave on up to ten 10 mins. and then rinse off with cool water. Pat dry with a clean towel. 3. The Natural One

  • 2-3 tbsp. French green clay
  • 3-5 drops of White Willow extract

This simple, 2-ingredient DIY mask will stop excess oil and future breakouts dead in their tracks, while also improving the skin's tone and smoothness and also aiding in reducing the appearance of fine lines! Take both ingredients [adding additional clay and/or extract as needed until you get a moist paste. Apply the paste to the entire face and allow to fully dry- up to 25 mins. & then remove from your skin; I like peeling it gently away in sections and then using a soft, moistened wash cloth to remove the excess mask left behind.

5. Easy DIY Calming Mask

  • 1/2 cup natural rolled oats [organic oatmeal]
  • 2 tsp. avocado oil
  • 2 tbsp. plain yogurt

Calm stressed, tired, and acne-prone skin with this easy-to-make and inexpensive diy mask. Mix all ingredients in a medium-sized glass mixing bowl. Apply in a thick layer to the entire face and neck areas. Allow the mask to set on the face for up to 20 mins. [I recommend laying down so that it will not fall off while the mask is drying] Before rinsing the mask off or removing with a soft, moist wash cloth with lukewarm water, gently rub the mask over the entire face and neck areas with your fingers for up to 2 mins. Pat dry with a dry, clean towel.
