Pantone's Fall 2015 Color Palette

Pantone's Fall 2015 Color Palette

I admit that tend to look forward to this time of year when the color trends appear and the fall/winter shows during Fashion Week pop up, introducing the new styles of the season! Going through the color trends, I usually pick out a few fav's and then pour over beauty items showcasing those new colors ;)

Once I've been able to locate my top 10 choices or so, I narrow it down again to about half of the list and set out over the next few weeks on the hunt. This approach to the fall beauty styles can make it fun- a "beauty treasure hunt" of sorts. I thought it would be nice to share with all of you this year my list that I managed to get together for Fall 2015- let me know what you think :)

1. Fire Ball : julep Light on your Lips Full Coverage Creme Lipstick in Stepping Out * $17.60

Great lipstick from Julep- excellent quality as I've always expected from them! This is one that's long-lasting with great pigmentation and a unique magnetic closure/lid.  Stepping Out is the perfect match to Pantone's Fall color- "Fire Ball"'s a little bit fun and a bit of sultry- all wrapped into one :) Julep's creme lipstick really will give you full coverage with a matte finish and excellent moisturization.

I received this in my March 2015 Maven box. This lipstick glides on like your favorite lip balm. It goes on evenly and feels AMAZING! Absolutely the best lipstick I’ve ever used. It doesn’t get sticky or flaky. I will buy as many shades that compliment my coloring. Also, the casing is magnetic so you don’t have to worry about the cap slipping off when you throw it in your purse!

2. Amethyst Druzy : MAKE UP FOR EVER Smokey Lash Mascara in plum, color #6 *$23

This product makes adding a pop of color for the new season, a breeze! The plum color of this MAKE UP  FOR EVER mascara is right on cue with this Fall's color trends and sets the bar fairly high. The smooth formula goes on easily and doesn't clump- plus you're going to get a fun & flirty pop of color without overdoing it.

3. Cayenne Pepper : tarte Colored Clay Bronzer Blush in Park Avenue Princess- pink bronze $30

One of the best blush palettes out there that I've come across- this works for most skin tones and even if you might feel as though you're less than an expert when it comes to blush in general, this product from tarte will pleasantly surprise you. It's also quite buildable and lets you achieve a variety of looks- all with one palette :) I've really not found a tarte product yet that I just didn't LOVE and this Colored Clay Bronzer Blush in Park Avenue Princess is no different!

I love the color and the smooth application. This replaced 3 of my products; blush, bronzer and highlighter.

4. Patch of Sky : Marc Jacobs Fragrance Daisy Dream Forever Eau de Parfum $88 [1.7oz.]

I don't normally go for pricier scents and perfumes, but I couldn 't resist putting this one in the list ;) It's a really nice blend of floral + fruit, that brings you to an almost Spring-like feel in the otherwise duller, colder fall and winter seasons. The super adorable bottle and pretty blue color make for a nice touch! Being able to place it out as a nice decor item or statement piece is a great added bonus too.

5. Pine Bristle : AERIN Waterlily Sun Body Cream $58 [5oz.]

This Body Cream smells as great as it looks with the perfect balance of good-for-you botanicals like Jamsmine sambac and Waterlily, combined with a sweet musk scent! Your skin will look as good as it feels- soft, smooth, and luminous :) Waterlily Sun Body Cream would make a nice gift for any woman and I would recommend this product for most skin types too.

The AERIN line of body cream is pretty amazing. A little goes a long way, and the scent lasts better in the cream than it does in the perfume (which is very disappointing). It works well for folks with dry skin (like mine). It has no oily, tacky feeling either. Loved this so much I brought another one in a different scent.

6. Old Mauve : Foreo LUNA Mini in Lavender $139 [limited edition]

This cool beauty tool is a little on the expensive side, but it's worth the cash! If you can save a bit for this one, I highly suggest snagging yourself one. They really do work and you get results with the first usage and within the first week you will notice how much cleaner and smoother your skin will be. If you want a device that reduces breakouts, rejuvenates skin while leaving it soft and pores cleaned- then this is DEF the beauty device to add to your beauty routine.

7. Deep Ocean : Sephora Collection Eye Pencil To Go in Night Blue $6 [.025 oz. size & Sephora exclusive]

Sephora always does seem to have affordable alternatives for every season that lets you dabble in the new colors and products, without spending an arm-and-a-leg ;) Night Blue from Sephora is super affordable at $6 is fairly dead-on with Pantone's Fall 2015 Color called "Deep Ocean". Looking for some great socking stuffers for the upcoming holidays that are just around the corner?! These are an excellent choice and you'd be able to score a couple for yourself as well as they're offered in other pretty, vibrant colors!

8. Evergreen : Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Zodiac [smoky black w/blue-green shift & blue-green 3-D sparkle$21

For ultimate season sparkle and shine, the Moondust Eyeshadows from Urban Decay are phenomenal! They are unique in that you can build these and layer them- either wet or dry and you can achieve a variety of different and fun styles. The color shown below in Zodiac is a great cousin to Pantone's "Evergreen" color for Fall 2015 and it's reminiscent of Spring and Summer, so you can still hold on to a little bit of it during the cooler months ;)

9. Tree Bark : Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in Whopping Willow [golden sage green$17

"Tree Bark" may not sound like a very exciting color and that really didn't come to my mind at all either when I saw the name, but this Chubby Stick from Clinique in Whopping Willow proved me wrong :0 A beautiful color in a rich and creamy formula that's in an easy-to-use twist wand, is exactly what you will get with this product- all at a decent price! These do go on sheer, but they are very pretty and are great for adding an extra boost to your other shadow colors/looks.

I love these so much. I am a chubby stick advocate, and all of my friends are now hooked too!

10. Peacock Feather : Agave Agave Healing Oil Natural Bamboo Paddle Brush- Smooth & Shine $25

This is one of the BEST paddle brushes out on the market for the price and I saw this the first time I used the brush. It's made with excellent care and quality and the Agave Healing Oil really does make a difference in shine :)
