If you've been to The Beauty Closet's blog more than once, you've most likely stumbled upon a post from time-to-time that included an organic or natural beauty product review or topic :) There's definitely a reason why I do post on the trends and reviews on items in the organic world- I've come across many beauty and skincare products over the years that have shocked me at what they actually contain!

Not everything is harmful and I am not one to jump to conclusions, which means that I will do good and sound research on my own before I decide if an ingredient, product, or brand is something I will choose not to use. However, I have found more often than not these days, that products and brands aren't  really having our hearts in mind..or for that matter or actual health :/

Many times it's about the bottom line, which is money for many companies and that also means that we as consumers will get: lesser-quality products, with harmful ingredients, and cheap formulas! That also doesn't mean that you have to be paranoid of every product out there being "bad" either and there are times that I admit that I still buy things that aren't considered to be "organic" or "natural" in nature and that's okay to do. I have made it more of an importance though when I DO look at products, to keep organic and natural ingredients in mind :)

The good news is, there are a lot of avenues out there that allow for you to easily scout out good products and items that are good buys and good for your skin too! There are quite a few apps for smartphones and other devices that will let you locate items, purchase organic or natural items, or even help you stay away from harmful ingredients with databases and bar-code scanners. When it comes to advice and research, there's quite a bit out there as well. I love going to sites like Paulaschoice.com , Totalbeauty.com, Justaboutskin.com, and the aad.org website [American Academy of Dermatology].

As for organic and natural skincare and cosmetic brands, there are many out there-especially in recent years...and often they fall short of being actually organic or natural at all!  Ayelet Naturals, the brand that I'm going to review today and share with all of you, is one that I REALLY like; I've had the personal opportunity to try out a product from their skincare line and see what they're about..check it out below:

Lipstick Welcome Box

The company was started by Ayelet, who is a former chef from New York City. Over 10 years ago, she was diagnosed with an auto-immune Neuromuscular disorder that caused breakouts, rashes, and even allergies! But Ayelet didn't let that get her down and instead began researching and creating her own natural skincare remedies and organic formulas!

She then began sharing these products with family and friends and in turn, they luckily encouraged her to leave her all-familiar restaurant world, and create what is now Ayelet Naturals :) Her dedication to create products that are natural, quality, AND also affordable has made Ayelet Naturals one of my top organic beauty brands!

If you've been searching for the perfect facial or body lotion-organic or not..you will absolutely LOVE this natural product :) I immediately saw the difference in the look and feel of this Skin Quencher from Ayelet from the second I opened it up! The uniquely recyclable glass jar with easy-on screw top, contains a generous amount of the product. It has a very different texture, but something that I liked: it appears to be thick, yet a light dab with your finger allows you to see that the formula is light and more "whipped" in texture! It goes on light and dries in under 2 minutes, while going on smoothly and almost with a cool, soothing feeling.

Ayele's Skin Quencher will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and well-moisturized throughout the day with just one application! I like utilizing the product as a moisturizing night cream and sometimes I enjoy dabbing on  a little in super dry areas in the am, before putting on the rest of my skincare and makeup routine :) If you have ultra sensitive skin, this is a great choice as well; I do have fairly sensitive skin myself and I had no issues with daily usage of this skincare product. The added bonus of it being affordable, means that you could get one for yourself and a gift as well!
