WHAT I GOT:
PARK AVE PRINCESS CONTOUR PALETTE $24
I was SO excited to get this palette!!! I've heard a LOT of buzz about it and I already am absolutely in LOVE with Tarte which made this product something I was really looking forward to! It's The highlighter was the favorite item in the palette as it's just beautiful! They did a great job of putting light overall champagne sparkle that compliments my fair skin-tone really well :) I also noticed when contouring, I could see how easily it blended compared to some of the other kits I've used! This kit is a GREAT buy too at only $24 and even though the palette container itself is made of plastic, Tarte did a fantastic job of concealing this fact until you actually hold it in your hands, and even then its not easy to tell. They also could have been slightly more generous on the size of the highlighter as I feel that it's the best item in the kit, but overall it's a great starter-kit for beginners..... and on-the-go kit for more experience contour experts!

AMAZONIAN CLAY FULL COVERAGE AIRBRUSH FOUNDATION $36
I went with the color Fair Honey as it's the lightest, fairest color they offer for fair skin with peach undertones. It also happened to be an absolutely PERFECT match to my skin tone- which is beyond rare for me considering how fair my skin really is! I've honestly been somewhat hesitant on buying this foundation- as most of know it can be difficult to find a great foundation and powder and once we DO-we usually stick to it! I also wanted to try out something new so I thought I'd give this one a shot and I'm very happy I did! I noticed that I didn't really need to apply it throughout the day constantly like I did with my current powder for touch ups. With 16 shades that are spec to tone w/undertone, there is a good chance you will be able to find a shade to that matches you just as well as I did :) This one didn't come with the airbuki brush that Tarte also makes, BUT I already had the brush so I didn't purchase. You can buy it separately OR in a kit with the foundation and I definitely recommend it with this product. Another fantastic thing about Tarte's Amazonian Foundation is how well it provides lightweight but ACTUAL coverage and can be work alone or over foundation for added coverage. One of the MOST notable things I noticed too about the product was the fact that even when layering, it didn't cake or even look caked on like many foundations and powders similar that I've used in the past. Tarte does make an excellent contouring brush that goes very well with the kit- the Slenderizer Bamboo Contouring Brush is $32 and is a good alternative to some of the more expensive options I've seen.
