Summer is Here...and so are the Fun Eye Looks! Check out The Beauty Closet's Top 5:

This look usually appears in variation for Spring & Summer, so it's no surprise that funkier, darker & muted pastel versions have been seen on tons of runways & shows this season! Like the one pictured above, the look seems to be inspired with a peacock vibe. Go for thick on top and bottom, choosing alternating shades for ea. Smudge and add in a bit of thick black liner on top and bottom lashes, smudging a bit more. Try fanning out, with a partial wing on ea. lid- to complete the look.

I've seen this trend before....but it was last year's version- only the look featured light & bright blue hues that lined along the top/upper lash line. This go-around, the trend has been spotted on the lower lash-line- but with no less flare or attention. To get this look: stick with one of this season's light, copper, orange, or brown shades- use a gel or stick type formula/application and place only on the lower quarter of your upper lids...stopping about the middle of your lids. Take the same color and lightly [and go easy on the thickness!] line below the lower lash-line. Follow this with a light, ice or baby blue liner for a pop of Summer color!

This shiny and bright hues have been seen everywhere from Summer and why not?....they're fun! Go all out like the look on the left with a high lid winged effect or for a super bold & highly-pigmented shade as pictured on the above right, follow all the way up your lid's crease line. Leave the a small space in the center of your lid and concentrate the bold color in the inner & outer corners of your eyes instead of applying to your entire lid. Then line along the middle lid crease line and along the upper lashes, to complete the look :)

A trend that started popping up around Spring and has really been spotted on runways, shows, and streets alike! Different cool & unique versions have sprouted up- like the version pictured on the above right. Line only along the middle lid crease, stopping about the middle of the lid. Next, line atop the upper lid- right above the lash line. Make sure to stop around the same mid-point as your previous step! Line the bottom your lash line last, stopping again, at the same mid-point as your previous completed step. Using liquid liner for this look will make it super easy to achieve and you can finish this fun & easy style with outer lash extensions [they only cover the outer quarter of your lashes- not the entire lash line] or just try a super thickening mascara, applying only to the outer quarter/corners of your upper & lower lashes.

These romantic & pastel looks are beautiful, effortless looks that are right on trend with this Summer's makeup styles. What I love about this, is that it doesn't require you to be an expert to accomplish and ends up looking fab on almost anyone! Try lining the upper & lower lash lines and then applying the same light, pastel pink or lilac shade on the upper half of your lids as well. Apply a super thickening & lengthening mascara, to finish off this super pretty style.

I've become a fan of this makeup brand after I gave their lip glosses a try and I was really looking forward to what these had to offer ;) Anything that makes my life easier & simpler...I'm all for it! That's exactly what these do! Not only does the collection come in a variety of fresh, seasonal shades like the ones pictured above- they're a cinch to apply.

Easily achieve any of the looks mentioned today in The Beauty Closet's Top 5 Summer Eye Trends, by using the above chosen shades :) Perfect for on-the-go beauty mavens, this easy-to-use eye shadow comes in a twist-up stick. It goes on like a creamy shadow and after about a min. or less, the shadow sets into a stay-put and smudge-proof sheer color.

You can layer shades for a more intense look and I really love the Champagne shade! This pretty and light, shimmer shade is perfect for highlighting brows and for the inner & outer corner of the eyes too!
