4 Easy Tips to Keep Skin Hydrated During Summer:
- Be sure to drink plenty of fluids! Water may not always be everyone's fav, however there are some easy options: try flavored water- two of my top picks: Hint Blood Orange Water & SoBeWater Strawberry Dragonfruit Flavored Water. You can also try a mix of fresh fruit in your own water fruit infuser bottle which is specifically designed to create natural fruit infused water with any fruit of your choosing!
- When you step out of the shower, rub in small amounts of natural 100% Sweet Almond, Jojoba, or Lavender oil which helps create a moisture barrier and locks in hydration for all day moisturizing power :)
- Make a DIY moisture mask for face and body to prevent dry, flaky skin & bring back luminosity for beautifully soft, hydrated skin: Mix> 1 package natural/organic oatmeal mix [prepared & cooled for 3 mins.]; 1 brown egg white; 1/2 teaspoon Avocado oil & 1/2 teaspoon Olive oil. Once the oatmeal has been prepared and cooled, mix in the remaining ingredients and immediately apply to the face & body. Leave on for up to 10 mins. and then rinse off; pat dry.
- Give the inside-out approach a try...with nutraceuticals! Nutraceuticals are pharmaceutical-grade nutrients that are supplemental options you can take daily and can make a real difference! Neocell makes some fabulous nutraceuticals that are designed specifically to tackle skin issues- like hydration!
