Trying to Cover Up Scars, Tattoos, & More?!
- Prep your skin! Make sure to apply your concealer/makeup to freshly-cleansed skin & pat dry with a towel. Apply a mattifying lotion and then a primer; allow to fully dry! Finish off with rice blotting papers to get rid of any excess oil.
- Apply concealer/makeup in layers- ensuring that each layer fully dries, before applying a new layer. Use a makeup brush to apply and then blend & cover with a sponge- like the beautyblender sponge = airbrush finish & ultimate coverage :)
- Color corrective makeup really does work! However, it should be noted that often ,the right shade is not chosen and the blemish/scar/tattoo ends up looking more obvious than it disappears :( Green is perfect to cover acne scars as it aids in reducing red; yellow is great for reducing under-eye circles, blue-ish or purplish scars; peach/orange is best suited for those with darker skin tones to cover heavier skin discoloration, dark acne scars, & sunspots.
- Be patient and don't give up! You may not achieve the look of coverage you are looking for the first time and it does take some time to develop your own personalized technique for covering blemishes/scars/tattoos...so don't give up! You can achieve a professional look with a little bit of effort and dedication ;)

Heavy Duty Concealer w/Concealer Pencil
Think you have to spend tons of cash to cover up the toughest things to cover up- like tattoos or dark under-eye circles? Nope! Not with Hard Candy's Glamoflauge! This fabulous product is around $6 and comes with two fantastic products: a tube of the heavy duty concealer- Glamoflauge & a concealer pencil = all on one awesomely affordable kit! I was shocked at how creamy the formula was and how good of a job the product does in general at providing the ultimate coverage- without causing it to look even more obvious! It has decent lasting power as well so you own't find yourself constantly fixing the applied area of continuing to touch up throughout the day. Once you've applied- the product stays put and looks great underneath your regular makeup as well! It doesn't look cakey and doesn't crease either...even after all-day wear. This is one of the best concealers I've come across for the price!!!
