The Manketti Nut...?
The mongongo tree is native to South Africa and features yellowish flowers that bear mongongo or commonly-known manketti nuts. These nuts are highly nutritious and have been eaten by some African bushman tribes for over 7,000 years! As for the oil that is produced from the nuts, it's very beneficial as well.
It's an excellent natural skin moisturizer too; since it also contains high amounts of protein, calcium, magnesium, zinc, & vitamin E, manketti oil boosts skin health, luminosity, and firmness :) But there's more to this awesome natural oil...
If you suffer from scalp dryness, dandruff, itchiness, and/or rough damaged hair then manketti oil is a great natural option. Want to see what the manketti nut has to offer for yourself? Check out The Beauty Closet's recommended product from Joico, below:

K-Pak Color Therapy Luster Lock
Joico knows quality when it come to hair care and I found this product to be right in line with those expectations. Not only does my hair look & feel healthier, it's stronger, softer, shinier, & manageable again! Safe for my color-treated hair, it's the perfect pick-me-up for the week.
I love applying this product at least twice-weekly for a salon style treatment for my scalp and hair. You don't need tons of product and I recommend applying this from roots to tips, leaving in for up to 5 mins; then rinse out and gently towel-dry your hair. It also happens to have a wonderful scent, leaving it smelling as fantastic as it looks :)
