The Rose: Did You Know...?!
There are over 100 species and thousands of hybrid roses as well- they vary in size, shape, & color and they are native to parts of Asia, North America, some parts of Europe, & northwestern Africa. Some roses can be as small as a thumbnail, climb up objects with creeping vines, and some species are even void of the trademark prickly points or thorns. The flowers are often used as ornamental or decorative pieces, in the scenting of perfumes [with rose oil], and for foods & drinks, such as in jams, soups, & teas. This is due in part to their high content of Vitamin C. Rose hip seed oil is fantastic for the skin as it provides an excellent natural moisturizer and it's packed full of antioxidants that are great for the skin as well. Rose hips are utilized in Chinese traditional medicine and other cultures have used the plant in herbal & folk medicines; currently, there is medical research being conducted on the flower's ability to possibly control cancer growth too.

Rosa Absolute Bath & Shower Gel
Absolutely LOVE this shower gel ;) One of my top picks this week to help your skin smell as good as it feels- just in time for Valentine's Day! This super rich, luxe body wash from Molton Brown features a top note of rose oil, heart notes of blackcurrant & geranium, and a patchouli base note- this gives this awesome bath & shower gel an intense floral scent that's actually easy for almost anyone to appreciate. I'm normally not a huge fan floral-scented body washes in general, but I became an instant fan of this one ;)
Comes in a nice clear snap-open bottle and a cute tiny red bow adorns the top as well. If you haven't heard of Molton Brown, they are a fabulous skincare and fragrance co. based in London, England; they've been making products since 1973 and carefully, expertly blend their chosen exotic ingredients with quality, care, & skill in mind! They also make products for both men and women, high-end department/retail stores, 5 star hotels, and stylish homes as well.
